Dr. Sandhu is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has stayed active in the field of allergy and immunology by presenting work, including original research, at a number of national conferences. She practices clinical allergy and immunology in both pediatric and adult patients.
Originally from Virginia, she received a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University followed by a master’s degree in biomedical sciences research at Eastern Virginia Medical School where she participated in immunology research. She completed medical school and her pediatric residency at the University of Virginia. After residency, she relocated to Philadelphia and completed an allergy and immunology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with adult cross-training at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Sandhu now resides in southern NJ with her partner and their dog, Blaze. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on walks with Blaze, and playing basketball.
